Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey continues to take a tour of various teams in free agency as he hopes to land a new deal in 2019.

Allen Bailey continues to take a tour of various potential homes for the 2019 season in free agency, and his latest stop is with Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks, per Adam Schefter.

Bailey has already drawn interest from a handful of teams, including the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots. Even his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, have rumored interest in bringing him back despite changing defensive coordinators this offseason—from Bob Sutton, who was let go after six years, to Steve Spagnuolo.

Bailey had a career high in sacks last season with six and remains in great shape even after eight full years in the NFL. He played in all 16 games last year for the Chiefs, starting 13 of them, and finished with 38 total tackles, 10 quarterback hits, 4 fumble recoveries, and 2 forced fumbles.

The Seahawks are in the midst of potentially remaking their defensive line if rumors about trading pass rusher Frank Clark are true. The Chiefs have even been mentioned as a potential trade partner for Clark, but Bailey could be a nice addition for Seattle either way. Dion Jordan remains an unrestricted free agent, and Bailey could supply nice minutes and depth as an experienced end in his place.

If Bailey, who just turned 30 last month, joins the Seahawks, he would also join former Chiefs defenders Ricky Ali’ifua and Nate Orchard, who signed in Seattle earlier this offseason.
