As an NFL Draft special, we welcome Thomas Welte to the podcast. We discuss various draft prospects and offer analysis on all things NFL Draft.

In this week’s Arrowhead Addict Podcast, we sit down contributor Thomas Welte in a special as we prepare for what could be coming in the 2019 NFL Draft.

To start out, we talk about some of the “major” names of players that have visited the Chiefs over the last month and how those players would fit in Kansas City. Cornerbacks like Lonnie Johnson and JoeJuan Williams have visited the Chiefs and have been mocked to go in the first few rounds. We also discuss other options at the No. 29 overall spot and how the Chiefs could approach the draft’s opening night.

After discussion of what positions are the most important to draft for the Chiefs, we discuss what specifically would make this a successful draft. Grant discusses his love Brett Veach’s draft philosophy, but also acknowledges its need to be more successful this go-around. Thomas discusses, in detail, what he would do with the start of the draft in order for it to be the perfect draft for the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the last segment of the show, we have an open discussion on prospects that have received a lot of mixed reviews and cheers from others. While we all agree on players such as Noah Fant, there is a debate over Jerry Tillery’s potential fit with the Chiefs.
