Chiefs guard Jeff Allen got help from a stranger before the game. Now, Allen is looking for that fan and wants to reward him with AFC Championship tickets.

Alright, Kansas City Chiefs fans. It’s time for you to prove that good things can happen on Twitter.

Chiefs guard Jeff Allen wrote a tweet right before midnight on Saturday explaining that his car was stuck in the snow before the game. A man named Dave helped pull him out, not knowing that Allen was a Chiefs player.

Allen said he wants to give Dave tickets to the AFC Championship game but does not have a way to contact him. Allen said in the tweet that Dave drove a Chevrolet Suburban from 1997 or 1998.

Talk about trying to give back. Allen has spent five total seasons with Kansas City, but offensive linemen are the least recognized players. It makes sense that Dave did not recognize Allen.

Whether positive or negative, social media has managed to find people who were needed to be found. Imagine this for a news headline: a stranger gets AFC Championship tickets for being a Good Samaritan in helping a Chiefs player. It would add to the positive PR for the Chiefs.

Dave. If you’re out there, reach out to Jeff Allen.

Allen was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Illinois by the Chiefs. He spent his first four years with the Chiefs before signing with the Houston Texans and playing there the last two years. Allen returned and joined the Chiefs midseason in 2018 and has appeared in 10 games, starting in four of them this season. He has started 40 of the 54 games in both stints with Kansas City.

dark. Next. Chiefs win defied all expectations—good and bad

The Chiefs will play in the AFC Championship game next Sunday against either the Los Angeles Chargers or New England Patriots.
