Tyreek Hill is questionable to return for the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering an ankle injury against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Kansas City Chiefs have officially announced the designation for Tyreek Hill is questionable after he suffered an ankle injury in the first half of the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14.
Hill is the team’s fastest player and most dangerous offensive weapon, not only in the passing game but on returns as well. Hill is on pace to break the Chiefs single-season receiving record for most yards. Hill has 39 receiving yards already on Sunday in the first half and needs 233 more in the next 3.5 games to tie Derrick Alexander‘s team record set back in 2000.
The Chiefs have been terribly unlucky against the Ravens when it comes to injuries. Earlier in the game, the team had already watched starting left guard Cameron Erving head to the locker room and then Spencer Ware did the same before halftime. That’s three key players, all starters, on offense lost in a single half against the Ravens.
What makes it worse is that the Chiefs were already without starting wide receiver Sammy Watkins in the game, and new additions like Charcandrick West and Kelvin Benjamin were left on the inactives list as they ease onto the roster and into the playbook. In addition, the Chiefs also recently released Kareem Hunt in the last several days, further weakening their offensive ceiling and depth.
Hill has 68 catches on the year for 1,158 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
