The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Arizona Cardinals in what seemed a closer than expected outcome in Week 10. How did the team perform overall?

The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 9-1 on the season after defeating the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Considering that the Chiefs were 16.5 point favorites going into the matchup, some fans are troubled that the team struggled to put up points in the second half only winning by 12 points to a team that had no business winning this game.

There are plenty of things to look at from this game to determine if fans should be worried about a close victory to a poor team just before they faceoff against the Los Angeles Rams this upcoming Monday night. Kansas City took the opportunity against the Cardinals to not only get some players playing time coming back from injury including safety Daniel Sorensen, safety Eric Murray, and linebacker Justin Houston, but they also allowed players like Sammy Watkins to rest.

The Chiefs defense started strongly following the first offensive drive by the Cardinals. After allowing a touchdown on the first drive, the defense didn’t allow a single first down for the rest of the first half. It was another game where the defense looked superior to lower competition while the offense showed some signs of a struggle.

While the offense didn’t put up the yards or points that many fans were hoping for, they were also playing against an underrated pass defense. Arizona is one of the best passing defenses as they not only have good secondary but phenomenal pass rushers as well. Let’s take a look at some of the positional units that I found interesting after watching the film a few times over again and determine what we really saw against the Cardinals in Week 10.
