The Kansas City Chiefs practiced again Thursday, ahead of the Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

In what can only be considered as a somewhat positive sign, Thursday’s injury report for the Kansas City Chiefs did not boast any exciting news.

After being nonparticipants for Wednesday’s practice, center Mitch Morse, outside linebacker Justin Houston, and safety Eric Berry all missed Thursday’s practice. While this isn’t necessarily surprising news, having Morse and Houston out for the second straight week definitely isn’t the ideal situation, especially after losing offensive lineman Jordan Devey to the injury bug as well.

The good news for the Chiefs, if any, is that the rest of the reported injuries were the same. Safety Eric Murray, outside linebacker Tanoh Kpassagnon, offensive guard Cam Erving, and running back Spencer Ware were all full participants in practice again for Thursday.

Having Kpassagnon back on defense would definitely help, especially considering Houston will more than likely be inactive for the second straight week in Sunday’s game. The Denver Broncos are not so fortunate as far as injuries go, however.

A new name popped up on the Broncos’ injury report, as outside linebacker Von Miller was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. Miller is apparently dealing with an ankle injury, one that may have been aggravated in Wednesday’s practice. Whatever the case may be, playing without Miller would be a huge blow to the Broncos defense.

The rest of Denver’s injury report was mostly the same, aside from Miller and Broncos center Nick Falah. Falah was a nonparticipant in practice on Wednesday but practiced on Thursday as a limited participant.
