Announcing the Arrowhead Addict Pumpkin Carving Contest

Why hello there, Addicts. Long time, no post.

I was cruising around on Twitter today and saw a gentleman who made an absolutely awesome Patrick Mahomes pumpkin to celebrate Halloween. I appreciate that kind of fan passion and since Halloween is my all time favorite holiday, I thought it might be fun to see what kind of creativity we have out there in the Chiefs Kingdom.

As such, in the span of an hour or so, I hatched the idea to host the first ever Arrowhead Addict Pumpkin Carving contest!

Here is how this thing is going to work. You are going to make a really awesome Kansas City football or Arrowhead Addict themed pumpkin. Use glitter, use googly eyes, do what you must. Just don’t cut yourself on your throwing hand. Once you’ve completed your masterpiece, take a picture of it and Tweet it to us @ArrowheadAddict. You can also email it to us if you like but we prefer Twitter. All the boring rules can be found here. Be sure to throw in a sign in there that says “Arrowhead Addict” so we know you carved this pumpkin this year and you aren’t sending us a photo a pumpkin you stole from your neighbor’s porch in 1997. Then, you wait.

You have until 11:59 on October 30th to send us your entry. On Halloween, Matt Conner and I will choose the best three pumpkins. We’re looking for creativity and appropriateness of theme (Kansas City football or Arrowhead Addict) so if you send us a Raiders-themed entry, don’t expect to win. Also, shame on you.

What do you win? Well, how about a snazzy Arrowhead Addict hoodie? I am currently sporing the incredible white version.

It also comes in red. You can also choose to receive our “Beat Denver Left Handed” hoodie, our “142.2db” hoodie, or our “Loudest Fans in Football” hoodie.

So what are you waiting for? Go get your pumpkins and get to carving. Some restrictions do apply, so again, the boring rules should be read.
