Physicality

Greedy Williams does a lot of things well, but he is not the most physical guy at the line or in the run game. There are times were he looks uninterested in engaging in the run game. I want to see a quicker and harder punch from Williams off the line when he is in press man. He is a solid tackler, but his willingness is questionable.

Weight

Williams has a slight frame and it shows up on tape. He will need to add some bulk and muscle mass at the next level to avoid getting completely washed out by bigger receivers. This is a fairly common issue for cornerbacks coming into the league, but if Williams measurements are accurate he could need to add upwards of 20 pounds.

Consistency/Attitude

This is a hard one to bundle together for me, but I think it is worth mentioning. There are times where Greedy Williams looks like Patrick Peterson, and then there are times when he looks like just another guy. This could be attributed to a lot of different factors, and I would like to think it is just a young player who needs to sharpen his focus and discipline.

However, cornerbacks are notorious for “business decision” and diva attitudes, so this may be something bigger than just a lack of focus. I have not been able to find anything positive or negative about Williams’ character, but his team interviews will be important come draft time.
