Andraez “Greedy” Williams would sweeten the Chiefs secondary in 2019 NFL Draft
By Thomas Welte
The latest prospect profile for the Chiefs heading into the 2019 NFL Draft is a bit of impact potential in the secondary that would really sweeten the defense.
It’s been a few weeks since I have been able to write up a prospect for you all, so I decided to aim big on this return. Today we will be looking at Andraez “Greedy” Williams, a star cornerback from Louisiana State University and a playmaker that the Kansas City Chiefs could desperately use in the secondary.
Greedy Williams is the consensus top cornerback in the 2019 NFL draft. The Kansas City Chiefs have been thin in the secondary this season, and there has been endless speculation about trade partners to remedy the woes of the Chiefs defense.
If the Chiefs decided to wait until April to add members to their depleted secondary, Greedy Williams is the cream of the crop. Listed at 6’3 and 184 pounds, Williams is a two year starter who wound up in the national spotlight for his play during his redshirt freshman year.
Greedy has the size and athleticism that could make him a truly elite talent at the next level.
