Kansas City Chiefs fans are going to want this t-shirt

On a memorable Monday night in 2014, Kansas City Chiefs fans had Arrowhead Stadium rocking, breaking the record for loudest outdoor stadium.

At one point, Arrowhead Stadium – the home of the Kansas City Chiefs – was louder than a jet engine at a distance of 100 feet. Just let that sit in (probably hurts your ears just thinking about it).

During a 2014 Monday Night Football game, the fans in Arrowhead registered 142.2 decibels of noise, breaking the Seattle Seahawks record from 2011 (which happened during Marshawn Lynch’s famous touchdown run against the New Orleans Saints in the playoffs).

It’s a unique record – one that intimately involved the fans – and it will be extremely difficult to break. Those 142.2 decibels will go down in Kansas City Chiefs history.
