Seantavius Jones, wide receiver

The Indianapolis Colts took a chance on Seantavius Jones after the Chiefs couldn’t find room for him in a crowded wide receiver situation. However the Colts offense looks to be moving on without Jones as well, which means the large target (6’3, 200) will try to find a new team or at least hope to land on the Colts practice squad.

D.J. White, cornerback

D.J. White landed with the Colts after he was cut by the Chiefs—not a surprise given the presence of Chris Ballard as general manager there. Unfortunately even with a very young secondary, he couldn’t make his presence felt. Perhaps John Dorsey will give him a look with the Browns since he’s the one who drafted him in the first place.

Rakeem Nunez-Roches, defensive lineman

Another cut from the Colts who decided against keeping Rakeem Nunez-Roches, an up-and-coming lineman who played a vital role for the Chiefs last season. It was sad to see him go, but perhaps the Chiefs can sneak him back on the roster via the practice squad.

Jeron Johnson, safety

The Dallas Cowboys recently brought in Jeron Johnson to help round out the preseason roster at safety but he was always going to be a temporary measure given the other players at the position. Johnson is a journeyman who was on the Chiefs roster back in 2016.
