Wide Receivers

  1. Tyreek Hill
  2. Sammy Watkins
  3. Demarcus Robinson
  4. Chris Conley
  5. De’Anthony Thomas
  6. Jehu Chesson

This is a deep group and the first real showcase of divided opinions. In fact, many of our writers would not be happy with this bunch.

There’s certainly no argument up front as the Chiefs have a clear list of favorites and then another clear list of hopefuls. The top foursome was no contest among our voters which includes Hill, Watkins, Robinson and Conley. From there, however, things got a little heated.

De’Anthony Thomas is a valued special teams player and got the nod over guys like Marcus Kemp, Jordan Smallwood, Josh Crockett and Gehrig. Dieter. The latter is the most surprising as he received numerous votes from our writers and yet Jehu Chesson made it in over him in a close race. It will be interesting to see if the Chiefs go the same way or allow one of their higher investments to leave for the sake of a promising up-and-comer.

Tight Ends

  1. Travis Kelce
  2. Demetrius Harris
  3. Jace Amaro

Again, no major surprises here on the pecking order until you get to the very bottom. Travis Kelce is always going to reign supreme here until he retires, and Demetrius Harris has blackmail on every member of the Chiefs front office. The team didn’t even  bring in someone to compete at No. 2 to be frank. Only the third and final spot was open, and our staff has Jace Amaro winning although the competition was close with Alex Ellis. (Note: the roster might have both in the beginning since Harris has a one-game suspension to serve.)
