Here’s a full round-up of information, analysis and injuries for today’s game between the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs will visit the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon for their third preseason game, and the contest will also be a heartfelt reunion for several players and even coaches.

Bears head coach Matt Nagy was the Chiefs offensive coordinator just last year and served under Reid for several seasons. Reid and Nagy squaring off against each other has been a nice storyline throughout this week, and it will be interesting to see how much each coach shows one another (and the rest of the NFL) in this preseason game.

Plenty of players will also be sharing memories and catching up in the hours before and after the game on Sunday. Bears backup quarterbacks Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray are both former Chiefs as is the recently signed running back/returner Knile Davis. Bears cornerback Marcus Cooper also found some early success with the Chiefs early in Andy Reid’s tenure, as did wideout Josh Bellamy.

This game will also feature a match-up of brothers in each secondary as Kyle Fuller of the Bears squares off against his brother Kendall, who the Chiefs just acquired this offseason in exchange for former quarterback Alex Smith.

As the game gets underway, here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know:

  • The Chiefs could get their first look at Spencer Ware in an actual game in a very long time, as long as he feels up to it in warm-ups.
  • Several Chiefs have already been designated as “out” for the game even as early as a few days ago. It’s a list that includes several defenders like cornerback Steven Nelson, safety Eric Berry and others.
  • We asked a Bears expert about what Chiefs fans should know about Chicago’s roster and how Matt Nagy has looked early as a head coach.
  • If you’re watching the Chiefs, expect to see the most familiar names getting the bulk of playing time today. Consequently the Bears are planning for the opposite as Mitchell Trubisky and company are all sitting as the Bears rest their starters.
