3. Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders will be interesting to watch this season. With reports of Jon Gruden wanting to revert back to “old school” football, it is likely that the Raiders will use the rushing game more this season. However, I fully expect Gruden to want to get his tight ends involved in the offense.

Jared Cook is a big guy and, if used correctly, could be an excellent red zone target. It will be interesting to see how Derek Carr performs this season under new leadership in a different offensive style. Cook’s season will likely depend on how he is used in the offense.

2016-2017:

54 receptions, 688 yards, 2 Touchdowns

Prediction:

57 receptions, 708 yards, 5 Touchdowns
