What we’re excited to see at Kansas City Chiefs training camp

I am planning on being at camp for one practice this year. It will be my first Chiefs training camp experience, and I have several things that I am excited for, but none more exciting than the cornerback battle. I have been advocating for additions at the position all offseason, but unfortunately, Brett Veach has given Chiefs fans the Aaron Rodgers treatment when it comes to cornerback: “R-E-L-A-X”

I am excited to see why Veach has such faith in his roster when no one else seems to. I will be observing David Amerson, who the fan base has already seemingly written off. Keith Reaser and Will Redmond have been mentioned by Brett Veach as potential suitors. I liked Ashton Lampkin until he went down with injury. Tremon Smith is an interesting player coming in as a rookie. Steven Nelson may be on the rise. Kendall Fuller was the best slot corner in football last year.

I am so intrigued by so much and there are so many questions, and I can’t wait to see some of them answered in camp. [Grant Tuttle]
