1. Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers

In previous years, Rivers has reigned supreme except for the brief period of time when Peyton Manning was destroying defenses in Denver. However, many believe that Rivers is beginning to lose some of the arm strength that he once possessed. When I watched Rivers last season, it seemed obvious that he did not have the same touch on his passes. That being said, he was an extremely effective passer last year and was still performing at a high level.

I believe that Rivers will take a step back this season, but it is very difficult to say that a quarterback who finished second in passing yards and fifth in touchdown passes last season will take too much of a dive. Rivers is a future Hall of Fame player, so it is just a matter of how long he can continue to play so well.

2016-2017:

Pass Comp: 360/575, 62.6%, 4,515 yards, 28 TDs, 10 Ints.

Prediction:

Pass Comp: 363/565, 64.2%, 4,491 yards, 28 TDs, 11 Ints.
