The Chiefs best defensive lineman remains under-the-radar on a national level despite being one of the league’s most disruptive linemen over the last two years. During his first season, Jones would flash serious bursts that would make opponents shake their heads as they struggled to find an answer for a player so obviously gifted athletically.

Last season, Jones took things to another level, showing off strong against the quarterback while also coming up strong in the run game. Even more importantly was Jones’s newfound consistency along a line that sorely missed the presence of Dontari Poe. Another strong year should only boost last year’s sack totals of 6.5 (a season high) which could really draw the attention he’s deserved since halfway through his rookie season.

One year from now, Hill and Jones will both be 25, rendering them ineligible for this list. But it’s likely that Mahomes, Hunt and even Fuller could enter the fray as real contenders as the Chiefs continue to hit on bright young talent on the roster.
