Kendall Fuller, CB

Fuller is the new star in the secondary for a Chiefs, a young ascending player capable of shutting down the interior passing game like few other corners with immediate instincts and superb acceleration. He was the key piece acquired in the deal that sent Alex Smith to the Washington Redskins last January, and he’s likely the reason Brett Veach struck early. It’s simply hard to find young controllable talent at the position.

Perhaps the NFL’s top-rated slot corner deserves a mention since he’s only 23, but Fuller will likely need another strong season in red and gold to garner mentions atop this list. For now he will likely remain a local hero on his way to much greater attention with years to come.
