Bryce Love, RB, Stanford

These two make the list partially because of how fun they are to watch on tape. Love is projected as the top rated running back for 2019, but his smaller size (5’10, 196 pounds) may cause him to slide a bit. Despite the success Kareem Hunt had in his rookie year, finding a competent compliment was difficult. Love is a shifty, agile back who would be an excellent option on 3rd down and in two back sets. That said, Love is no slack as a runner and has put up an insane set of stats.

Collin Johnson, WR, Texas

Collin Johnson, a wideout from Texas, is a 6’6 receiver who could see his draft stock explode with a good season. Johnson had a solid year for Texas in 2016, but I want to see more from him this year. He is an acrobatic guy with a large catch radius. He would be an excellent jump ball and red zone target for Mahomes, and some of the catches Johnson has made have reminded me of Alshon Jeffery.
