No. 86 overall
Brian O’Neill, OL, Pittsburgh

The Kansas City Chiefs should love every single facet of Brian O’Neill’s game, and in the third round, he would be the perfect value. The Pittsburgh tackle would be ideal for the Chiefs zone schemes as his athleticism is among the best in the class. Even more, he’s very versatile with a full season starting at both left and right tackle.

Some scouts have O’Neill slated to move inside, but even that would work well for the Chiefs since they’ve lost Zach Fulton this offseason. The offensive interior looks quite thin beyond Cam Erving, who himself is a wild card and his contract is up soon. Taking someone like O’Neill gives the Chiefs a quality back-up in case something happens at bookend or another player to consider as a starter inside at left guard.
