The Kansas City Chiefs continue to use their given pre-draft visits on fringe prospects to know better for the end of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Like most NFL teams at this point in the pre-draft process, the Kansas City Chiefs are lining up multiple visits with intriguing players who are likely going to be late round flyers or even undrafted free agents when all is said and done in the 2018 NFL Draft.

In the next couple weeks, well over 200 players will be chosen but dozens and dozens more will find temporary homes, at least, on NFL roster as UDFAs—roster hopefuls with potential of impressing coaches when it matters most. During this important pre-draft season, teams invite potential prospects to visit to see what they think about players with a lot less film to study.

James Murray of Holy Cross is one such prospect, an offensive lineman who is finding interest from Brett Veach and likely others as well.

Murray stands at 6’5, 304 pounds and has been the starting center for Holy Cross for years. He also, however, comes with some nice experience starting at right guard, which means some built-in versatility could help Chiefs coaches build on that foundation at the next level.

The Chiefs did not draft a single offensive lineman last year and lost Zach Fulton this offseason, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Chiefs bring in multiple new options to round out the depth chart.
