We have a great guest for you to get ready for the game on Saturday as Mark Schofield joins us to talk Mahomes’ first start and Titans at Chiefs

The

Kansas City Chiefs

are dealing with injuries that will more than likely keep an important run defender off the field on Saturday. The Chiefs are likely going to be without Rakeem Nunez-Roches against a good running team. One thing that could help them is that the Titans will be

without starting tailback DeMarco Murra

y. Without Murray the Titans won’t be able to run over and over again with the same effectiveness.

The Chiefs should have the rest of their players ready for the wildcard match up on Saturday. Tamba Hali, Jarvis Jenkins and Albert Wilson are questionable for the game. More than likely all of them will be available to play on Sunday. Of the three, the most important to play may be Albert Wilson. While Wilson didn’t have a huge statistical season for the Chiefs he is a glue guy. He brings passion and isn’t scared to get in mix ups on the field either.

The Chiefs haven’t been good in Arrowhead in the playoffs as their record is 2-6. I expect that isn’t going to be an issue this week as the Chiefs match up well for this game with the Titans. Tennessee limped into the playoffs with their second year QB struggling throughout the year. Mariota doesn’t have the offensive weapons that Kansas City does so it could get out of hand if they can find a way to slow down the Titans rushing attack. K.C. should win this game handily, but then again, this team has lost other games in which they were much more talented than their opponent.
