The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Tennessee Titans on Saturday afternoon to kick off the 2017 playoffs.

For the fourth time since head coach Andy Reid came to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, he will be taking the team to the postseason.

The postseason is where the season really begins for some Chiefs fans as they havea acclimated to making the playoffs but have yet to make it past the divisional round under Reid. After a rocky stretch midway through the season, the Chiefs seem to be on a streak winning their last four games driving into the playoffs. Could this be the year they win more than one game in the playoffs?

The Tennessee Titans had their own struggles winning only one of their last four games to complete the season. With a win over Jacksonville in week 17, they squeezed their way into the playoffs sparing their season. The question for them is if that game was a fluke or the start of a streak?

Luckily for the Chiefs, the game will be in Arrowhead where the defense has done well all year. The defense has not allowed a single team to score more than 20 points since Week 6 of the 2016 regular season. The red and gold have also forced 12 turnovers in the last four games. The Titans have given the ball away 25 times this year which ranks 23rd in the league. If the defense can muster one or two takeaways for the offense to capitalize on, it could be enough for the Chiefs offense to put this game away.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota has struggled in his third year with 15 interceptions, 11 coming from games on the road. The Chiefs are 6-2 at home this year while the Titans are 3-5 on the road. The Tennessee offense averages only 17 points per game when on the road while the Chiefs defense allows only 16.9 points per game at home.
