Kansas City Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos in Patrick Mahomes first start
. The Denver Broncos have decided that they will
for another season as a head coach. I personally appreciate what Elway is doing for the Broncos organization keeping a coach that looked in over his head. While a new QB could greatly increase the Broncos next year keeping Joseph does not.
Meanwhile in Oakland the team is trying to put out the fire they started when they let the news that they think they can bring back Jon Gruden to coaching in Oakland. There are several issues that have to be ironed out for it to really happen but if they are able to pull it off it will be entertaining to watch. Yes Gruden took the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl and won it over 10 years ago. He also took a team over with four future Hall of Famers in the prime of their career on the defensive side of the ball.

The Chiefs had the day off on Monday and they may practice today due to the short week. Coach Reid said that De’Anthony Thomas’ surgery went well and he will return to Kansas City shortly. The Chiefs have a big game in 4 days as they should be able to host and win this game against the Titans. Kansas City’s rushing defense has vastly improved late in the season and Marcus Mariota is not having a good year.
