We talk to Travis from the Locked on Dolphins podcast and do a quick review of the Chiefs Pro Bowlers for this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs have three Pro Bowlers this season and they are all offense. Well kind of anyway. Travis Kelce was selected to his third Pro Bowl. Kareem Hunt was the only rookie selected for the Pro Bowl in the AFC. Tyreek Hill will return to the Pro Bowl this season but again as a returner and not a wide receiver.
Of the three players to make the Pro Bowl the one I question the most is Tyreek Hill. I think he deserves to be there as a wide receiver with his season thus far. He’s been better than both Keenan Allen and AJ Green this year and deserves to be a selection. He did make the roster as a wide receiver alternate as well so it’s possible he’ll end up there as a wide receiver. Kareem Hunt making it as a rookie is a great sign moving forward for this offense as well.

The Chiefs also had multiple alternate selections for the Pro Bowl. As I mentioned Hill is an alternate at wide receiver. Alex Smith is an alternate and you could make a case he’s been better than Big Ben and Rivers most of the season. Defensively both Justin Houston and Marcus Peters are alternates which could surprise some people. The Chiefs also got two more special teams alternates. Both Dustin Colquitt and Harrison Butker have been selected as Pro Bowl alternates. Butker has been fantastic this season and could easily be the future kicker for the Chiefs for many years to come.
