We have a special guest with David Eulitt joining Ryan to discuss his unique perspective covering the Chiefs on the sidelines.
A interesting headline broke late in the afternoon on Monday as injuries from the weekend games are coming out. The fumble caused by Reggie Ragland that was recovered by Ron Parker lead to a semi-serious injury for a Charger. Second year tight end Hunter Henry has a lacerated kidney from the return. Bennie Logan was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play but it sure looked to be clean from my point of view. Henry’s availability over the next two weeks is now in question which could change the Los Angeles Chargers playoff chances.
The Oakland Raiders lost in a great fashion on Sunday night. They have practically been eliminated from playoff contention and winning the AFC West. With two games to go it’s pretty simple for the Chiefs, if they win one more game they win the division. With that scenario it’s possible we see the Chiefs wrap up the division this weekend. It would be the first time the Chiefs have ever won the division in back to back seasons.

Several of the Chiefs offensive players are nearing big statistics for the season. Tyreek Hill has already crossed the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his NFL career. Travis Kelce is nine yards short of crossing the 1,000 yard mark for the second straight season and has a career high 7 receiving TD’s this year. Alex Smith has already eclipsed his career numbers in yards (3,738) and TD’s at 25 for this season. Smith has an opportunity to pass for over 4,000 yards which has only been done 5 times in Chiefs history.
