The Kansas City Chiefs are back in action after a bye week, and they pick things up again on the road against the New York Giants.

The New York Giants have a single win to their name, an early win over the Denver Broncos that meant more in retrospect than it does in the present. As Denver looks worse, the Giants do as well, laying a total egg last week in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers that pretty much put a cork in all hopes for 2017 as well as the coaching stint of Ben McAdoo.

The Giants are undoubtedly planning a complete organizational overhaul in a couple months, but for now those still involved would like to save face and surprise pretty much everyone with an upset performance against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, would love to walk away with not only a win for the books but a dominant performance to reverse the momentum they took with them into the bye week. The question for the Chiefs will be about how they come out from a couple weeks away. Was it a time to rest and learn, to grow and heal? Or have teams figured out something this season about how to play Andy Reid’s team?
