Though the Chiefs have fallen upon hard times as of late, there is plenty of reason to remain optimistic about the 2017 season.

Back in July I wrote an article breaking down some key factors as to why the Chiefs would win the AFC this season. That story was met with some criticism, as many people did not share my optimism.

As the first five weeks of the season came and went, I began to feel quite confident in my preseason predictions, as the Chiefs were unanimously considered the best team in the NFL.

The last few weeks however, have not been so kind. With bad losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders, as well as an uninspiring win over the Broncos at home, many people are again questioning whether or not the Chiefs will even make it past the divisional round.

While these questions are valid, there is still much to be optimistic about this season. Here are the reasons why the Kansas City Chiefs will still win the AFC.
