Were I a betting man, I’d expect the bye week to pay dividends for this Chiefs team. In the past, Kansas City has mostly had its back against the wall heading into the off week. In the past three seasons, the team was either a .500 or sub-.500 team coming out of the break. The 2013 season was the only exception, and unsurprisingly, that was the one year the team went into a slump following the bye week. This group will have had the unique opportunity to see both the best and the worst of itself before it plays the back half of its schedule.

Do you expect the Chiefs to go on a run following the bye week? Can the team shore up its issues and return to early-season form over the next seven games? Are you concerned that the past four games are a foreshadowing of the postseason? Use the comment section below to weigh in. As always, we appreciate your readership and support.
