Chiefs vs. Raiders: Winners and losers from Thursday Night Football
Marshawn Lynch – Loser
Beast Mode was really tamed tonight. His reign of terror was cut off early thanks to an ejection in the second quarter. Getting into a field scuffle with some Chiefs players, then getting too fired up with one of the refs, Lynch was sent to the sideline never to return that fateful night. Any other day, this would have been a huge boon to the Chiefs. But, Lynch has not been all that great since donning the Raiders uniform.
Harrison Butker – Winner
Butker has been astounding since taking over for the deposed king of kicking Cairo Santos. Entering the NFL this year with the Carolina Panthers, Butker landed on their practice squad. He was snatched up by the Chiefs quickly when Santos landed on injured reserve. His very first NFL play was a missed field goal, but he quickly bounced back. Showing off his leg strength and accuracy ever since then, Butker deserves credit as one of the winners of this game.
