Numerous NFL players from the Chiefs, Raiders and even other teams took to Twitter to express their own emotions at the insane drama from Thursday night.

If you’re feeling sad or even just tried this morning from the emotional rollercoaster of Thursday Night Football, you’re not the only one. Several NFL players, including Chiefs and Raiders, took to social media after the game to express the craziness that was the ending of Oakland’s close win over Kansas City at home.

If you missed the game, you didn’t just miss one finish. You missed multiple endings. There was the touchdown to Jared Cook. Then there wasn’t. Then there was the touchdown to Michael Crabtree. Then there wasn’t. Penalties kept the game going beyond the play clock’s expiration. The Chiefs started celebrating after an incomplete pass to Cook, but then came Ron Parker’s penalty. The next play was an incomplete pass to Cordarelle Patterson but that was also negated by Eric Murray’s penalty.

Finally, after tons of drama, Michael Crabtree caught a short touchdown throw from Derek Carr to tie the game. The extra point sent the Chiefs home as losers. It was confusing. It was disheartening. It was emotional. It was also unlike anything that anyone had ever seen.

Check out some of the responses on Twitter to what happened, including some from the Kansas City Chiefs, past and present. As you might expect, Oakland Raiders players on Twitter were quite happy and Gareon Conley in particular was trying to call out real fans from fake fans in the process for some reason.
