Here’s all the info you’ll need to catch the broadcast between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans in Week 5.
Heading into the 2017 NFL season, it was clear that the powers-that-be in television programming believed in the Kansas City Chiefs. The team was scheduled to play in primetime this season more than any other, including the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys or Pittsburgh Steelers. It seemed the Chiefs had finally arrived as a respected position league-wide. So far, the Chiefs are rewarding those who believed in them as the lone undefeated team in the NFL.
Heading into Week 5, the Chiefs will once again be on primetime television under the bright lights of NRG Stadium in Houston as they take on the Texans. This time, they’re on Sunday Night Football, the anchor broadcast for NBC that will showcase the surprisingly undefeated Chiefs against a Houston team that excited many last week by putting up 57 points on their division rivals, the Tennessee Titans. Specifically all the buzz is about rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson and how good he looked last week.
The Chiefs will have to answer for his ability to extend plays with his legs as well as as his arm, but they’ve faced some of the league’s best teams already in the first quarter.
