The Kansas City Chiefs will be without a couple key offensive linemen against the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football.

The Kansas City Chiefs were going to go into their Week 4 matchup in primetime dealing with a number of concerns across the offensive line. The only question was how banged up were they going to be as they host the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. Fortunately the team’s inactives provided a bit of relief even if they’re still down two starters as they try to remain the NFL’s only undefeated team.

Parker Ehinger practiced this week for the first time, but apparently he’s not quite ready to resume his position as the team’s left guard, so that means Bryan Witzmann will make his fourth straight start at the position until Ehinger returns. In addition, Mitch Morse remains out another week dealing with a foot sprain from Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Without their starting center, the Chiefs will deal with a lack of athleticism in the middle as their anchor is out once again.

As for the good news, Eric Fisher will reportedly play after all, despite missing significant time in practice all this week. Fisher is the team’s starting left tackle and if he had to sit, the Chiefs would be forced into playing Cam Erving just four weeks into trading for him, ready or not. Fisher’s back will be a key component to watch during the telecast to see how he’s holding up against the pass rushing forces of Ryan Kerrigan and Preston Smith.

Linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis is also inactive after missing time in practice as well this week.
