Seth Keysor of ArrowheadPride joins the show to discuss the Patriots game, how Alex Smith looked and corner Terrance Mitchell.
The Chiefs returned to practice today and reported only a couple small injuries. Bennie Logan was the only player not to practice with a knee contusion. Parker Ehinger and Reggie Ragland were the only two players that were limited. I would guess that Ehinger and Ragland are still a couple weeks away from making their debuts. Safety Ron Parker practiced in full on Wednesday. With the injury to Eric Berry against the Patriots, Ron Parker’s health becomes even more important.
Kansas City’s line has a big test on Sunday. The strength of the Philadelphia defense is the defensive line. Fletcher Cox is a man among boys and will be a fantastic barometer for the growth of the Chiefs offensive line. The biggest question on the line is still first year starter Bryan Witzmann. If he can continue his solid play the offensive line should be a strong point moving through the rest of the season.

Defensively the Chiefs will be tested more via the air than the run against the Eagles. Carson Wentz isn’t Tom Brady but the Eagles do have a great stable of wide receivers. Bob Sutton will look to take advantage of the young quarterback with disguised looks and blitzes throughout the game. The K.C. secondary should be ready to stand up to the Eagles passing game which will put more pressure on their running game. Legarrate Blount and Darren Sproles will find it much tougher to run on this Chiefs defensive front. Expect a big game from former Eagles tackle Bennie Logan as well.
