Eagles vs. Chiefs: Bennie Logan misses practice, Ron Parker returns
By Matt Conner
The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with a fairly small injury report heading into Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium.
Bennie Logan was the only member of the Kansas City Chiefs to completely sit out practice on Wednesday as the team prepares to host the visiting Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Hopefully the defensive tackle will be ready to suit up on Sunday despite the missed practice because the Chiefs are going to need a strong performance from the front seven in order to disrupt Carson Wentz.
Logan suffered a knee contusion in the team’s game against the New England Patriots in Week 1, and it’s likely that Andy Reid and company are simply holding him out to be ready for Sunday versus push anything with the veteran. Logan will certainly be anxious to play against his former team after coming over from the Eagles this offseason, as his signing helped the Chiefs move on from longtime defensive lineman Dontari Poe.

Logan showed in Week 1 what so many were hoping to see as he and Chris Jones helped push the pocket on a regular basis on Tom Brady and helped set the tempo up front against the defending Super Bowl champs.
In some good news for the Chiefs, safety Ron Parker was a full participant in practice after being limited earlier in the week. The Chiefs are going to need Parker at full strength after losing his counterpart Eric Berry for the entire season due to an ruptured Achilles tendon.
As expected, linebacker Reggie Ragland and offensive lineman Parker Ehinger were limited in practice. Both players are expected to need more time, perhaps even several weeks, to find themselves ready to seriously contribute on game day after coming off of torn ACL injuries.
