Wide receivers:
Tyreek Hill
Chris Conley
Jehu Chesson
Demarcus Robinson
De’Anthony Thomas
Albert Wilson

Six months ago, this wide receiver depth chart would have been troubling. There would be a furrowed brow over the loss of Jeremy Maclin. There would be questions about playmakers in his absence, including why the team seemed so impressed with Jehu Chesson—likely overvaluing him more than others in the draft. At this point, however, Tyreek Hill has won everyone over with the innumerable Antonio Brown comparisons, Chesson has shown his value as a possession receiver and return candidate and Demarcus Robinson has looked solid in the spring and summer.

When you add all of that to a familiar stable of young receivers from last year, you realize the Chiefs have given their current crop of wideouts every chance to break out. Albert Wilson is the oldest of this bunch at 25 and is a strong special teams performer himself. These guys all held off considerable competition from Marcus Kemp and Seantavius Jones, along with many others, but their familiarity with the playbook and Alex Smith could help at least one of them break through to the next level. The most likely candidate would be Chris Conley.
