Tackle

Eric Fisher – Starting left tackle.

Mitchell Schwartz – Starting right tackle.

Jah Reid – Swing tackle. Chiefs could go younger but I expect it’s Reid.

Guard

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif – Big signing in the offseason.

Parker Ehinger – Most likely starting left guard if healthy.

Zach Fulton – Can play any interior position which likely makes him the 7th O-lineman.

Center

Mitch Morse – Really close to being a star. Another good year should get him recognition.

Defense

Defensive End

Chris Jones – Future franchise cornerstone.

Allen Bailey – Great run stuffer that has gotten better against the pass. Big to get back from injury.

Tanoh Kpassingnon – 2nd round pick that may not play much.

Rakeem Nunez-Roches – Flashed last season after getting cut in the offseason.

David King – Flashed in the preseason and could be the odd man out but I think he could stick.

Defensive Tackle

Bennie Logan – Could be an upgrade over Poe from last year especially against the run.

Cam Thomas – Just a feeling but he could just need a new location.

If you missed an Episode of Locked on Chiefs, you can hear them all right here:

Outside Linebacker

Justin Houston – If healthy beast.

Dee Ford – Huge year for Ford this year.

Tamba Hali – Hard to know how much he has left but he’s still top three.

Dadi Nicholas – His injury at the end of last year complicates things. If healthy he could round out the OLB’s. If on PUP his spot goes to Frank Zombo.

Inside Linebacker

Derrick Johnson – Man in the middle.

Ramik Wilson – Should be the other starting ILB next to DJ.

Justin March – Wild man on the practice field and always around the ball.

DJ Alexander – Special teams ace.

Ukeme Eligwe – Probably needs a year to get ready to play in the NFL, but will be on the roster.
