RTK: Hiring Brett Veach confirms continuity and conspiracy theories
Brett Veach is the Chiefs’ new GM. What does that mean for K.C.? It means continuity reigns, alongside some previously-held conspiracy theories about the Chiefs’ front office split.
On this episode of Roughing the Kicker, Joshua Brisco talks about the Kansas City Chiefs Chiefs’ hiring of Brett Veach as general manager to replace John Dorsey. The move brings a level of continuity in the front office, something that seems important to Clark Hunt, since he discussed building on the success the team had under Dorsey. Veach will definitely do that, since he’s been with Andy Reid for his entire scouting career and has learned under Dorsey since 2013.
However, the move also confirms some conspiracy theories that came with Dorsey’s firing. Check out today’s episode of Roughing the Kicker to hear more about the upside and downside of the move and what to expect moving forward.
