Jeremy Maclin will visit Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday

Jeremy Maclin continues his free agent tour after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday with a new stop in Baltimore.
Just five days after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs, wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is making the rounds on his free agent tour, having spent a day or more with the Buffalo Bills before leaving to visit the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.
It’s unknown whether or not there are other teams with official visits that will be scheduled, but plenty of other teams have been tied to Maclin, at least in terms of NFL analysts guessing on potential fits. The Cleveland Browns have inquired about Maclin and other teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers have also been mentioned as potential landing spots.

The very fact that Maclin made it out of Buffalo without a deal could mean that the free agent is going to take his time and not feel pressured to make a decision. Then again it could also mean the Bills didn’t exactly like what they saw or the financial aspect if/when they discussed it. Maclin was released largely due to the cap space needed, as the Missouri product was going to command $12.4 million against the cap for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs are hoping that Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce can carry the offense as the primary weapons for Alex Smith while simultaneously hoping that one of the young receivers—Chris Conley, DeMarcus Robinson, Jehu Chesson—can step up and become a respected target in the process.
