The Kansas City Chiefs announced the latest hire to their front office as Ryan Poles joins as Director of College Scouting.
The Kansas City Chiefs have suffered several losses to the front office personnel already this offseason with the loss of Chris Ballard and Kyle Childress to the Indianapolis Colts, Marvin Allen to the Buffalo Bills and then the firing of two others, Will Lewis and Trip MacCracken. They have, however, filled a hole as the Director of College Scouting, Ryan Poles, who previously served as the team’s College Scouting Coordinator.
The Chiefs named Ryan Poles their Director of College Scouting. Good name to file away -- one of the smartest young personnel minds around.

Poles will fill the role vacated by Allen, who was the team’s Director of College Scouting and now took the same position with the Buffalo Bills as part of the new front office led by general manager Brandon Beane, formerly of the Carolina Panthers. Allen’s absence allowed the Chiefs to simply promote a promising young executive. Allen had been with the team since John Dorsey first arrived in 2013.
Poles was also just one of several new personnel moves announced by the Chiefs on Friday.
