Patrick Mahomes and Kareem Hunt are both attending the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere, signing their first football cards for Panini.
Two members of the Kansas City Chiefs are getting their first taste of the spotlight and the marketing opportunities that come with being an NFL player. Both quarterback Patrick Mahomes and running back Kareem Hunt are two of the nearly 40 rookies taking part in the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere, a special weekend event designed to educate incoming players on how to navigate the creation of their brand while simultaneously providing them with numerous marketing opportunities with the likes of Nike, FedEx, Panini America and many more.
This is the first time that an NFL player will actually appear in his complete uniform for the sake of taking photos for football cards or shooting videos for various NFL partners and sponsors. It’s exciting for both players and fans and usually results in a slew of memorable content on social media.
