Pro Football Focus recently released a list of the top offensive players under the age of 25, and the Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill landed on the list as the best flex player.

The celebration around the unexpected emergence of Tyreek Hill as an offensive force continues well after his rookie season has ended, this time with the naming of Hill as the best flex player in the NFL under the age of 25. Pro Football Focus has a new list looking at the best young offensive players in the game, and Hill has been named to the team.

The Dallas Cowboys lead the pack with the back-to-back punch of Ezekiel Elliot at running back and Dak Prescott at quarterback, while it’s surprising to see that Odell Beckham Jr. is still eligible for this list, proof of just how good he has been from such an early age. When it comes to Hill, PFF’s Brett Whitefield writes

Hill was an unsuspected hero for the Chiefs as a 2016 fifth-round pick. Kansas City quickly learned that he could be a mismatch problem anywhere on the field, lining him up wide on 53 percent of snaps, in the slot on 40 percent, and even in the backfield on seven percent. Despite only playing 27 snaps through the first three games of 2016, Hill racked up 12 total touchdowns as a receiver, runner, and return man. Hill was also PFF’s highest graded non-kicker/punter special teams player in 2016.

Andy Reid has said Tyreek Hill is going to become a much bigger part of the offensive game plan heading into his second season. If so, here’s hoping the Chiefs can find a returner to take the pressure off as Hill eases into the main offensive scheme. Hill had 61 catches for 593 receiving yards last season for 6 touchdowns for the Chiefs. He also had another 2 touchdowns rushing and 3 touchdowns on special teams as a kick and punt returns.
