The Linebackers

Who’s In: Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, Ramik Wilson, Dee Ford, Justin March-Lillard, DJ Alexander, Dadi Nicolas, Ukeme Eligwe, Frank Zombo

Who’s Out: Terrance Smith, Khaseem Greene, Victor Ochi, Earl Okine

Assuming that the Chiefs keep ten linebackers again this season I think this is probably how things shake out. I actually like Terrance Smith’s upside but I couldn’t justify keeping him over their new draft pick Eligwe. That having been said, if Eligwe is slow to develop I could see them trying to get him on the practice squad and keeping Smith. I also would like to see an OLB with more upside than Zombo make the roster in his place, but he’s too reliable to pick any of the developmental guys over him at this point.

Next up, the defensive backs.
