Mitchell Trubisky reportedly visited the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday as the team preps its big board for the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to host numerous college quarterbacks at Arrowhead Stadium this offseason in their work leading up to the 2017 NFL Draft. Mitchell Trubisky is often the first quarterback taken in many mock drafts, but the Chiefs are doing their due diligence anyway and brought in the North Carolina star in a visit on Friday.

Trubisky comes with all of the tools and a nice year at North Carolina, throwing for 30 touchdowns last year for the Tar Heels. However, it was his only year as a starting quarterback which has left scouts and general managers wondering why he couldn’t beat out his collegiate competition before now. That said, his time in the spotlight provided some nice game tape and Trubisky is often mentioned among the top 10 picks in the draft.

The Chiefs have also hosted Deshaun Watson, DeShone Kizer, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Dobbs, Nathan Peterman and several others in the lead up to the NFL Draft. Their first official pick is at No. 27 overall in the first round, but general manager John Dorsey has 10 picks at his disposal to trade and use to move around.
