Deshaun Watson
This Clemson Tiger roars onto the draft scene boasting a natural athleticism to dodge, duck, dip and dive his way through and past defenders should they crash the pocket, easily able to extend plays or turn what would be a surefire sack into a gain. Watson also flashes the ability to lead and rally his team when necessary. Watson also puts a nice touch on his passes, throwing a tight spiral that lasers its way to target receivers with ease.
With the good also comes the bad. Watson has a tendency to let his accuracy go on hot and cold streaks. The lack of going through progressions smoothly has often lead to poor throw placement, the ball ending up behind the target or sometimes under thrown. The lack of vision has given itself over to a few more interceptions than needed.
All in all, Watson is a prospect that shows the talent and natural skill sets to succeed. His mechanical issues and lack of vision will be his downfall. Most places have Watson going anywhere from rounds 1-3. Some think he is worth the 1st round gamble, but from my perspective, if Watson is there in the very late 2nd round or early to mid 3rd round, take him.
