The Kansas City Chiefs are set to lose several players once free agency begins in one week — on March 9. We have some predictions on where they will land.

In one week, the Kansas City Chiefs will compete with the rest of the NFL to sign several players. While much of our focus will be on the new players coming to Kansas City, it will also be interesting to see where some familiar faces end up playing next season. After all, some destinations affect us, as fans, more than others.

Two years ago, Chiefs fans watched the single best center on the open market, Rodney Hudson, leave Kansas City for greener (read: financial) pastures with the Oakland Raiders. Just last year, Hudson made his first Pro Bowl and he’s helped stabilize the team’s offensive line, a weakness for multiple years, into a strength and their offense looked unstoppable at times last season.

Last season it was Sean Smith who left Kansas City, and once again the final destination was Oakland. The Raiders grabbed the former Chiefs cornerback hoping to bolster their secondary and hurt a rival at the same time. While it’s hard to tell how much of a difference it made, it’s impossible to deny the Raiders are closer than ever to the top of the AFC West.

So where will Dontari Poe end up? Will Jamaal Charles end up with a rival or heading the NFC? And what about some other free agents like Nick Foles, Josh Mauga or even Daniel Sorensen? Let’s take a look.
