It’s time for the front office to get clear about Berry’s future with this organization. Time won’t change Berry’s expectations. I’m convinced that Dorsey knows today what it would take to get him signed. I’m not suggesting Kansas City overpay to keep Berry, but it’s time to either pony up or prepare for life without him.

What kind of numbers do you think it’ll take to keep Berry in Kansas City? If you were Dorsey, would you be willing to play a game of ‘ten-game holdout’ chicken with him?
