If Hill continues to trend upward, he’ll steal playing time away from more tenured receivers on the roster. Reid’s offense has often sputtered in 2016 due to a dearth of big plays from its most viable pass-catching options. Hill’s currently leading the team in receiving touchdowns and has recently posted 85 or more receiving yards in two of the past three weeks.

His ascension could be key to this offense’s consistency going forward. Maclin’s health may afford him more opportunities in the coming weeks, should his groin injury require more recovery time, but Hill should still be targeted fairly often once he returns.

Are you surprised that Tyreek Hill’s been able to adapt so quickly to the NFL? Does his skill set make any of Kansas City’s underachieving receivers expendable? Can he continue to improve as the league compiles more game tape on his abilities? Use the comment section below to weigh in. As always, we appreciate your readership and support!
