The National Football League is seeing some shocking cuts on cutdown day. Should the Kansas City Chiefs go after Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton?

The Chiefs are a very good football team. Yet, like the other 31, they have some flaws. One of the potential issues we saw in the preseason was Parker Ehinger starting at left guard. It’s nothing against the rookie, but he looked overwhelmed on occasion, especially against All-Pro Aaron Donald.

Now, the Chiefs might have another option: Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton.

Sitton is a very, very good player. It remains unclear why the Packers are reportedly going to move on from him, but the Chiefs could and should be all over this situation. Sitton is 30 years old and has made the Pro Bowl in 2012, 2014 and 2015. He has also been an All-Pro in each of the last three years.

This is a perfect situation for Kansas City to get much better very quickly. Can you imagine a line that has Mitch Morse, Josh Sitton and Mitch Schwartz on it, to say nothing of an improving Eric Fisher?

Chiefs general manager John Dorsey was with the Packers when they drafted Sitton back in 2008. One could connect the dots that Dorset would have the inside track on Sitton should Kansas City be interested.

What do you say, Addicts? Should Dorsey pass or get on the phone?
