There are several other battles could be decided for depth positions in the game today. Watch the starting special teams’ units which are usually made up of players they are expecting to be on the team. This can give you a better perspective of the players that have a chance to make the roster.

On offense the Chiefs will have to decide who their third signal caller is most likely between Bray and Murray. At running back KC will be trying to trade one if not two of the talented stable of RB’s on their roster. The top three are probably set barring any unforeseen trades, but do the Chiefs keep three or four RB’s? And if they do keep 4 who is the 4th?

Wide receiver is another key battle on offense for the reserve WR’s. More than likely there are 5 locks in Maclin, Conley, Wilson, Streater and Hill. The question is do they keep 6 wide receivers? If they do is Demarcus Robinson who they drafted or do they find a trading partner for De’Anthony Thomas?

On defense the biggest reserve battles are at outside linebacker and corner. It’s possible that the Chiefs carry five of each of the positions. Hali, Zombo, Ford and Nicolas are pretty safe which would leave room for Dezman Moses. At corner, Marcus Peters, Phillip Gaines, Steven Nelson, KeiVarae Russell, and DJ White are locks. Do they keep Marcus Cooper who has looked great in camp and can back up both safety and cornerback as the 10th defensive back?

What do you think, Addicts? What roster battles are you going to be watching?
